About Gamath Travel Academy
The travel industry is changing at AI speed, and it needs people who can learn real skills fast. This Academy exists to help travel-industry enthusiasts and career-switchers learn those skills and earn a livelihood from them.
Our mission
111 short lessons (about 23 hours in total) across 8 tracks - operations and airline systems, sales, pricing and contracting, customer care, finance and settlement, travel technology, data, and marketing - each with a worked example, common mistakes and a four-question quiz. A hands-on Practice Lab lets you try simulated versions of real travel-desk tasks.
Free, and independent
The Academy is free and will stay free: no sign-up, no paywall, nothing to buy. It is an independent education initiative built by Gamath Travel. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by IATA, ICAO, DGCA or any airline, GDS or regulator. Names of industry bodies and systems appear only to describe how the industry works.
Contributing is entirely optional and never unlocks anything. If you would like to help us make the Academy bigger and better, you can scan the QR code in the footer with any UPI app. The payment goes through your own UPI app and bank; this site does not see or store who you are.
What the content is, and is not
- The content is for education. It is not professional, legal, tax or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for training from your employer, an airline, a regulator or a qualified professional.
- Rules, fares, tax rates and procedures change and differ by country, airline and supplier. Always verify against official sources before acting on anything you learn here.
- Numbers in worked examples are illustrative.
- The Practice Lab is a simulation. It never connects to a real booking, ticketing, payment or supplier system.
- Ranks and the Rank Card are a self-study progress record, not a professional qualification.
